DeLane’s work is organic and spontaneous – rarely working from a sketch, she lets the materials she is working with dictate how she works and what she makes. Her work is eclectic: pieces can be realistic or abstract; traditional, modern, or folk art; and can contain fabrics of all kinds including those she dyes herself or wool she has felted. DeLane loves trying new techniques and styles and enjoys using the various methods to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
